Pricing updates using Product Uploader

Marketplace Managers can now use Product Uploader to bulk-update Vendor List and Marketplace Sale prices. This feature enables partners to easily manage pricing changes across ISVs without much effort.

AppDirect enforces a pricing hierarchy model and so prices should be updated in accordance to that. In other words, the Vendor List price should be updated before the Marketplace Sale price. Note that bulk-changes using Product Uploader can impact pricing across the entire production catalog and so pricing changes should be validated before making them using Product Uploader.

To bulk-update pricing using Product Uploader:

1. Go to Manage > Marketplace> Products > CATALOG| Product Uploader.
2. Click Download Products. In the Download field, select Vendor List Prices, and then click Download. A new activity log entry is created indicating the progress of the download. Click the ellipsis button to download the Vendor List price .csv file.
3. Update the prices in the downloaded .csv file.
4. After making the pricing changes, click Update Products. In the Update field, select Vendor List Prices.
5. Click Upload to upload the updated .csv file. A new log entry is created indicating the progress of the pricing update.

Feature enablement

This feature is not enabled by default. Contact your AppDirect technical representative to request it.
